Kyle and District Museum
Step back in time at the Kyle Museum, situated in the historic setting of the former Tuberose outpost hospital. Onsite, you’ll find fascinating structures including a country school, a teacherage, a 1912 homestead shack, and an authentic cook car. Explore a rich collection of artifacts from both the First and Second World Wars, alongside antique machinery, vintage vehicles, and a traditional threshing machine. Be captivated by photographs and replicas of Woolly Mammoth bones, linking our past to a prehistoric era. Operated by a dedicated volunteer board, the museum comes to life thanks to volunteers who open it on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer. Dive into the past and discover the history that shapes us.
