Kyle and District Museum

Step back in time at the Kyle Museum, situated in the historic setting of the former Tuberose outpost hospital. Onsite, you’ll find fascinating structures including a country school, a teacherage, a 1912 homestead shack, and an authentic cook car. Explore a rich collection of artifacts from both the First and Second World Wars, alongside antique machinery, vintage vehicles, and a traditional threshing machine. Be captivated by photographs and replicas of Woolly Mammoth bones, linking our past to a prehistoric era. Operated by a dedicated volunteer board, the museum comes to life thanks to volunteers who open it on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer.
