The Kyle Sports Grounds are home to their ball diamonds and rodeo grounds, which includes permanent rodeo facilities, food booth, multipurpose facility, washrooms and bleachers.
We are excited to share that Kyle boasts two fantastic baseball diamonds catering to sports enthusiasts and community events. The first, known as the Yellow Jackets Diamond, is situated north of the rink, providing a central location for our vibrant sports scene. All of the work at the Yellow Jackets Diamond was proudly accomplished by dedicated volunteers and the Yellow Jackets baseball team themselves. The second diamond is conveniently located east of the Rodeo Grounds.
Our town supports a thriving minor ball program, nurturing young talents and fostering a love for the game. In addition, we proudly host the Sr. Men’s Yellow Jackets ball team, showcasing top-level talent and competition. Both diamonds are also popular venues for slo pitch games during our rodeo events, adding to the dynamic community atmosphere.
Our sports grounds are not only a hub for athletic activities but also proudly serve as the home to our renowned rodeo facility. Every year, the biggest event on our calendar, the Kyle Rodeo, draws visitors from far and wide. Held annually on the second weekend in August, the Kyle Rodeo showcases thrilling rodeo performances and fosters a vibrant community spirit, making it an eagerly anticipated highlight for both locals and visitors alike. Join us in celebrating this exciting tradition in the heart of our town.
