The Biggest Little Rodeo In Saskatchewan

The Kyle & District Rodeo was originally started by Rec. Director Gary Blanchette in 1977. It has been run in conjunction with reunions, as well as the Sask. 75th birthday in 1981, and the rodeo’s own 25th anniversary and homecoming in 2001. They also run a slo-pitch tournament during the rodeo. This function has been, for more thirty years,  a major fundraiser for the Kyle & District Recreation Board. Proceeds made from the Rodeo has allowed the Rec. Board to make upgrades to the Kyle Sports & Rodeo grounds, such as permanent rodeo facilities, new food booth, new washrooms, bleachers for rodeo grounds, and a chariot/chuck wagon track.
